You are probably thinking, “Body scrub? Eww. That’s so girlie and messy. It’s not for me.”

You are completely wrong, my friend. Body scrub is your friend. Probably even your best friend, depending on what kind of skin you have.

There are three types of sugars in the DIY world: sugars you eat, sugars you can use, and sugars you throw/give/waste away

This DIY focuses on the second one (sugars you can use).

Okay, so I totally made all of that up. BUT…it is a vital part of this post, since it is a key ingredient in what we will be creating.

Body scrubs are in excellent exfoliant. When you massage it over your skin, it removes dead skin cells that can clog your pores and can boost circulation and helps drain your lymph nodes. And it’s stress-relieving, too (especially if someone else is doing it for you).

The kind that we will be making will leave your skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated. You will love this stuff!

So let’s get mixing!

Supplies:

  • 4 tablespoons white granulated sugar

  • 1 tablespoons Palmolive Dish Liquid Soft Touch soap

  • 1 tablespoon Johnson & Johnson baby oil

  • Plastic spoon or knife

  • 260mL storage container/jar

  • Medium-sized mixing container

Step 1:

Pour the sugar, Palmolive soap and baby oil in the mixing container.

Step 2:

Take the plastic spoon or knife and mix all of the ingredients together really well.

Step 3:

Pour the mixed ingredients into the storage container/jar

And that’s it! Now you have a really nice sugar scrub that you can use to get your skin nice and baby soft!

All of the ingredients are very good for your skin! Together, it will cleanse, smooth and moisturize, as well as remove the dead skin cells.

Cheers to healthier skin!

Keeping It Classy & Crafty,
