I know I already did a post dedicated to Easter, but I really want to do a post dedicated to the reason why we celebrate Easter.

For those of you who do not know the story behind Easter (also known as "Resurrection Sunday" ) , it is celebrating the resurrection of Jesus after he died on the cross. He is the Son of God in the form of a mere man, and was killed for being the Son of God (the priests thought he was lying and committing blasphemy). We celebrate him, his death and his resurrection because it demonstrates that we have an eternal home in Heaven by believing that God raised Jesus from the dead, confessing that we are sinners and believing that he is God's son.

Let's get to it!

Supplies:

8x10 wooden block
Stickers with bible verses
Mod Podge
Sponge brush

Step 1:

Plan out where you want each sticker to go.

Step 2:

Peel off one of your stickers and place it on the side of the block with the Mod Podge. Repeat steps 2 and 3 with the other blocks.

Step 3:

After you have put stickers on every side of the block, paint a layer of Mod Podge on all sides except the side that is on the table. After the glue has dried on the other sides, paint a layer of Mod Podge on the last side of the block and wait for it to dry.
