A Blog Comeback...The "Blog-Back"

Why hello to those of you who haven't given up on this blog yet.

Let me start off by saying that if blogging on a regular basis were a class, I just got a big fat F.

Now why, might you ask, do I epically fail at keeping a blog? (choose one)

(a) Maybe I was a little ambitious when I said that I wanted to blog weekly.

(b) Maybe I didn't realize what I was getting myself into.

(c) Maybe I underestimated how much free time I have.

(d) Maybe it's all of the above.

Yes, I admit to all of it. And I am about to utter a phrase that will never in the history of this blog (however short or long its lifespan may be) will never be said or spoken about ever again.

My husband, Viji C. Samuel, was right.

Now I love my hubby with all of my heart. And boy, is he right about a lot of things, especially about me. But, I canNOT let him be right about this one. Why? Because he was so incredibly confident that I was getting too excited about having a blog and that I wouldn't have enough time to keep up with it. And I didn't want to prove him right. So I put all of my time and energy into proving him wrong...by completely forgetting about blogging altogether.

Thus the phrase. And why I epically fail at keeping up this blog.

But, I want to make a comeback! And no, I don't mean like the comeback Vanilla Ice tried to make after his hit "Ice Ice Baby" (ooooh burn. See what I did there?). In all seriousness, I want to try again and commit to this! Also, it doesn't hurt that I want to prove hubby wrong. But more importantly, I am very excited about opening up the artistic facet of my life, and put my thoughts about my paintings/drawings into words. Plus, I would love to get any feedback and suggestions from you. Yes, YOU! Your opinions are very important to me and I appreciate each and every one I have gotten so far, so suggest away. And if you happen to notice that I take too long to post another entry, shout me out on it! We're here to help each other out, right?

Speaking of helping out, I want to start having free giveaways on here too! P.S. Back to that phrase that shall never be said or spoken about ever again. If any of you ask me about it, I will say that I do not know what you're talking about. If you show it to me, I will claim that someone else wrote it. End of story. :-)
